Dear Breeders, Today we are going to talk about the Wiki! If you don't use the Wiki you are at sever disadvantage. Knowledge is power! You might be a new breeder or a breeder that has been around the block a time or two but if you want to even the playing field you need to know your way around the Mystical Creatures Wiki! Let's say that we see this Dragon (pictured below) at an auction or a market You click on the dragon and get its stats. You see that this dragon has a Shrieking Phantom eye, Bloody Phantom claws, Horn Pigment, and Ornament Pigment. Huh! You have never seen or heard about that eye before. Does it go with the other Bloody Phantom traits? Well lets find out. We open up the wiki and go to the main page. We want to go to: List of Dragon Attributes, to search for that eye. We click on that link and it opens to this page: We see on this page: Dragon Eyes and so we click on this page (shown below) From here we are going to go the Non Starter Eyes. So click on this and it will open a page that shows all of the non starter eyes. Scroll down the page. You will soon discover that the "Shrieking Phantom" eye is not there! Welp! Now what???!!! Have no fear we just have to dig a little deeper. Look up at the right hand corner and you will see a box that says : Search (is everyone with me so far?) Alright so now we are just going to type in the word: Shrieking Phantom ---> and hit enter. This Search engine will now tell us where the word Shrieking Phantom has been entered and will bring you to this page. Awesome! We now can read that the Shrieking Phantom eye came from the 2022 Legendary Edition - Halloween. So click on that link and it will bring you to this page: Scroll down and you will find the picture of the eye: S WOW! So you will see that this dragon does in fact have all four traits that dropped from that LE! Knowing the traits of the dragon you are interested in helps you evaluate the dragon you are wanting to purchase. Trend Setting News! Dragon Fitness, battle Arena & Auction house now open at Sun & Moon: T Dear Breeders, Introducing the very first of its kind a dragon fitness and battle arena! Sun and Moon has created a new experience for you and your dragon to train together with their obstacle courses, a flying time test or a walking one. Both obstacle courses are timed and have leaders boards. Warning you must do the course with in the perimeters laid out or you will be disqualified. I myself brought one of my dragons and did the flying obstacle and the walking one. Both courses were a lot of fun and very challenging. The maze on the walking obstacle course was very challenging. I really had a great time doing both courses. My scores on the leader board was at the bottom lol Which only means practice makes better! They even provide a resting station for your dragon complete with food! Sun and Moon also has a battle arena for the new update of the dragons. They are an official Mystical Creatures Market place and Auction house. So yes when the update comes out you will be able to bring your dragons and have battles there. Only at official Mystical Creatures sites can you battle your dragon for points. Sun and Moon has everything for dragons. Their auction house is a visual experience that I can't wait to attend. They have stall rentals as well. I encourage you to get your favorite dragon and go test your skills at Sun and Moon obstacle courses. It is a blast! Dear Breeders, Are you a collector *coughs* hoarder? Have you already amassed a menagerie of dragons in your inventory? Why not create your own personal museum of dragons? I went to visit two museums today. Both were amazing and both very different. The first step in starting your museum is to decide on what you want t display. For example maybe you love to design showstopper dragons or maybe you are a purist and love to make a five traited dragons with all the same traits. Or perhaps you like to mix it up and you do a little of both. Either way your museum should reflect what you like to breed and design. There is no right or wrong way as your museum should be a reflection of you. The second step is to pick a space to display your dragons. The two museums I visited today were as I mentioned earlier very different in many ways. One was a more traditional museum where the collector had a building with pictures on the walls of the dragons he made and placed the dragon eggs in the picture prims. He did this to save on prims. Pretty smart! The other was set out in the open with a path that you walked by each of his displays of live dragons. Stunning! So maybe you have a sim where you can display your dragons or maybe you are limited by the amount of prims you can use either way your museum can be amazing. Need a little inspiration?
