Hey Mystical Family I thought I would take some time out to talk about Auction and Auction Etiquette! There are different kinds of auction places. Drop auctions have a sign up board that you click to get your place in line, then when it's your turn you drop your breedable on the panel. You usually need the auction land group to join it and rez. Panel auctions have actual podiums to place your offers on, sometimes with a small fee. They usually require sellers to rez their breedables a certain amount of time before the auction starts. This can give attendees time to see what is available but also let's the auctioneer know you will be there so they wont have an empty panel. Unforeseen things can happen but it is the polite thing to do to let them know if you can't make it These also need land group to join and rez. To start, let's talk about timing. Try to arrive a few minutes before the auction begins; it's not because your name is down on the list you should come late. Remember, your fellows are trying to sell their Dragons too, and any of them could be offering just the one you need. The same applies to leaving right after your panel. It's not just inelegant but disrespectful to the auctioneer and the audience. Again, others are there for the same reason you are. Give them the same chance they gave you. Now a sensible subject is pricing. Don't offer the same trait someone else tried to sell before you for half the price they were asking. That is not a smart move and will not make others see you as a great dealer. The effect is the opposite. They will see you as a market crasher and will avoid buying your stuff in the long term. Also, don't be ashamed if you don't know how much to ask for your items; ask your auctioneer before the auction starts; they are incredibly involved with market prices and are the best to help you. Lets talk about someone puts up a dragon for 3k and you know that the market value is 6k, what do you do? Well you have options, you can say something in local chat but be respectful. You can message the auctioneer, or even the seller and respectfully let them know. Sometimes well a lot of times pricing errors occur because of misinformation. DO NOT be hateful in local chat disrupting the auction and hurting someones feelings does no good! Remember we all want to the same thing to sell our dragons for top dollar! And at last, tipping. Don't forget to tip your auctioneer after you sell something. Auctioneers work only for tips. They try hard to sell every offer in an auction. Recognizing their effort to sell your stuff is fair and elegant, so tip 10% every time you sell something. Sometimes even if you don't sell, and if you notice a special treatment to your panel, it's a good practice to tip the auctioneer. Any small tip is appreciated auctioneers are giving up their fun time to help to sell your stuff. Do's and Don'ts Don't rez more than 2 on a panel unless they are a set Don't offer sick animals Don't sell way below market value Don't leave as soon as your panel or drop turn is over (this is not fair to other sellers) Don't show up near the end of the auction just to join the fishbowl that some offer Don't contact others in private trying to get them to sell you something cheaper Don't send group invites or talk about your auction unless you have cleared it with the auctioneer Do's Invite all your breeding Friends Bring something that you would think others would buy Pay attention at the auction, there maybe something going on you want to know about Observe all sim rules in place at the auction you are at Have a good time, a good auction is one with patrons engaged Be open to changing your start if you are undervalue Ask questions if you there is something you do not understand Auctions can be a lot of fun so find the right one for you, there are lots of them out there you can pick morning or night, panel or drop, lots of options so if you go to one you dont like just try another! Hello everyone! Hope your having a good day! Its a Manic Monday and I wanted to take some time out of my day to talk to you guys about Duplicated Crystals or Well Spring! Sometimes Second life roll backs can cause issues with your breedables, but don’t worry I am going to tell you a few tips how to quickly resolve this issue. First thing you MUST do is file a ticket and including these things will make your replacement super speedy! Rez out all dup food or consumables in one place, Post the slurl to the food in the ticket. Include your last food transaction history! Provide the full transaction record with date, time, region etc, for your purchase. This can be found on your dashboard on the Secondlife website under transaction history. Make sure that we are able to get to your land, you can add Avalon Crystal and Josaphine Cooperstone to your orbs, if we cant get to the food then we cant start your replacement! Take a deep breath because your replacements will be on the way! I hope that this will make it less nerve racking to find those duplicated items! Hey Mystical Family! How is everyone doing today? I wanted to take some time to talk about how you set up your dragons! I know everyone has their own set up. Im am often asked whats the best? Well my answer would be what works best for you! I thought i would show you how i set up my breeding dragons. I leave the default range on this works best for me because i have room to spread out and I do not use a union crystal. Take a look! You can see i use a pod method, i put the dragons i want to breed together like in the above photo the the 2 Dawnlight Gale and Xumenth i am breeding together, i dont want them to breed with anything else. I set out a food and well spring in the middle of the pod, so all the dragons can use them and they are all in range. It is important that I note that I do not have movement on my dragons so they are stationary. Doing my breeding like this i can control who breeds with who without using a union or changing the range. Keeping your range at 10 means that dragon can only communicate with things that are within 10 meters, so I dont get issues of them taking a while to breed when they are at 100%. Here you can see the different pods, with the nexus, DEM, and incubators located in the middle for me to easily use, each pod has their own food and well spring. This is what i found works for me and thought I would share! If you have a different way please let me know and i can feature how you set up your breeding! This is Ava over and out!

Hey Mystical Fam! Hope everyone is having a great HUMP DAY! WOOT we are half way thru this week! Keep going we are almost to the weekend! I thought it was time to talk about something that im not sure everyone understands, on question i get all the time is: “Help, my breedable isn’t eating!” or “Help, my breedable is sick!” Range can be a common factor in both those questions. So, today, let’s talk about setting the range on your Dragons. The range is set in meters and is the radius of a circle with the home point as the center. (The radius of a circle is measured from the center to its edge). When a Dragon is first birthed its default range is set to 10 meters. This means that you must have food within 10 meters in order for them to eat. When your Dragon is old enough to breed they will also have to be in range to breed to other Dragons. Here are examples using a 10 meter Radius of food in range and out of range. You can check the range on your Dragon by clicking then environment and complete. This will list all settings of your dragons in local chat. Remember if you have movement on your dragons it is important to make sure that your dragon is always within range of the food. The other thing I really want to stress to you is that if you are moving your Dragons in any way without rezzing please, please, reset home, this is the number 1 reason Dragons are not eating. Pick up a DEM if you have a few Dragons and you can easily reset home in a few clicks! To reset the range on a Dragon, click the Dragon, Environment, and Set perimeter, then you will have to type in the range you want in local chat. I DO NOT recommend setting your range over 40 meters!!! or below 10 meters!!! If you find that the range is not the issue, then try the following tricks before filing a ticket. 1. Re-rez (usually fixes 99% of the issues). 2. If the land is set to a group, are the Dragon and food set to that group? 3. If the land isn’t set to a group, are the Dragon and food set to the same group as each other? 4. Is the Dragon set to the type of food out? 5. Remember to reset home position if you edit mode These are my tips about range and how to always ensure that your dragon is eating! If you need help dont be afraid ot ask! Make today Mystical!

Do you Union? Lets take a look at the brand new Union Crystal! Union crystals are used to set up mating pods with your dragons. If you want only certain dragons to breed with each other, you can use a Union Crystal. This is just a tool to pair certain dragons together if you wanted to, the Union Crystal is not required to breed your dragons at all. How do you use a Union Crystal? First rez out a Union Crystal next to the dragons you want to breed together. Click the dragon you want to connect to a Union Crystal, in the menu select Mating> Union Crystal, you will get a message in local to touch the Union Crystal you want that dragon connected to, select connect from the crystal menu. You will get another message in local that the dragon is connected and its uuid. You can name your Union Crystal by clicking the union then name, a pop up box will appear type the name you want and the submit. You can also turn the text on and off on your union by clicking the Union Crystal and text then select on. Selecting list from the Union Crystal menu will give you a list of all dragons connected to the Union Crystal like this: [12:01] Union: Dragons connected to this Union Crystal: [12:01] Union: UUID: MD2a9d1a3c2985-c9d8-acd625a27fbc3b09, Name: Drake UUID: MDcfc5964f6cbe-da0a-d1eeb8s01c963af0, Name: Dragoness If you no longer want to pair the dragons you can remove the Union Crystal, if you rez your dragon on a different sim it will remove it from the Union Crystal. How many dragons can you connect to the Union Crystal? There is no real limit, but we recommend no more then 20 dragons to one Union Crystal. Is there a limit to how many Union Crystals I can use on my sim? You can have as many Union Crystals rezzed that you wish to use for your dragons. Remember this i just an option you can create pods, and use range to do the same thing, look for a connection in the future on that! Make today Mystical!

Good morning Mystical family, sadly it is time to talk about a few things and way to protect you and your dragons! First thing is first everyone should know all dragons and food are created by the same avatar MysticalDragons. MysticalDragons is the offical avatar of Mystical Creatures, any dragons or food not created by this avatar are copybotted and will not work. No CSR or staff person will ever ask you to pay them directly for a product. It’s also important to know that only the account MysticalDragons have the ability to send you Mystical Products. Meaning CSRs cannot send you starter packs, food or consumables. Mystical Creatures has a well-oiled system in place to ensure its customers are getting the products they have paid for delivered to them. More importantly, it’s never a good idea to accept any object in-world from people you don't know! You never know what that object contains or the effects it can have on your linden, avatar or land. Some people send items to steal your money and others just to grief you for fun. Sad but true! One other thing... I can't stress this enough... NEVER grant any object permission to take money from you unless you know what it is and why it’s asking. First let me say no one can "steal" a breedable from you however they can acquire your breedables in 2 ways: 1. You pass it to them 2, They purchase the breedable from you even if it is set to 0 lindens 1) By mistake you set one or more of your breedables for sale in your breeding and someone comes along and notices your mistake, buys your items for 0L (or whatever the mistake price is) and walks off with your favorite breedable. 2) You’re at your market shop and you are setting up some new Dragons or Eggs for sale and in that split second that you’re pricing your Dragons, someone comes along and buys your breedable but not for the intended price. Second Life has taken measures to protect its customers. You now have to apply your price to any object you're selling. Just be careful with pricing your Dragons and make sure you set them for the correct price. If you do set something for the wrong price and someone purchases it for that price it is between you and the person who bought it. In linden labs eyes its a legit transaction because you set it for that price and someone bought it they will not help you recover any items sold at the wrong price! Another thing to be aware of is who has access to your breedables and who also has your edit rights! Just because you grant someone permission to edit your objects, this does NOT allow them to take your no copy no mod objects such as your breedables, but they could cause some havoc so its not a bad idea to check who has the ability to edit your objects in world. These are just a few ways to protect your self and you beloved dragons that you worked so hard to breed! Lets all make today Mystical!

Hey Mystical Family! I wanted to take some time out to talk about something that might make your Dragon breeding life much easier! Whats that? The Mystical Dragon Environment Manipulator v2.0, or as most people call it the DEM! What is the DEM? Its a tool that can change the settings of all dragons on a sim with just a few clicks! The settings you can change are the following: Mobility Text Sound Perimeter Home Breath How do you use the DEM? Well my first trick is that you should select DEM Text and turn it on, so you can easily see what you have the settings set to. The hover text will display the DEM's current settings. You want to go thru each setting and set them how you want, it is very important that you DO NOT HIT ACTIVATE until your settings are set to your liking. My second trick to tell you, for me I always make sure the the Home Set is set to Resetting Home! So if i move my dragons around a quick click of the DEM all my Dragons homes will be reset to where they are currently standing. Here are my current settings from my DEM: Avalon Crystal's 'Mystical Dragon Environment Manipulator v2.0' D.E.M. Settings: Mobility: Immobile Text: On Sound: Off Perimeter: Unchanged Home: Reset Home Breath: Breath Off These are perfect settings esp if you are using at a market because it may be required that you have sounds and movement turned off. Once you have everything set the way you want its time to click the DEM and select Activate, doing this changes the settings on all dragons that you own on the sim!!! Keep in mind your settings may be different if you want your dragons to move, or breathe, but i suggest always resetting home! If your DEM is blue and not green head over to any store and pick up a new updated DEM!!! Well I hope that you will start using the DEM if you don't already! Make today Mystical!

Hey Mystical Family! Hope everyone is having a terrific Thursday! I wanted to talk to you about archetype, what it is and what they do and why you should know! Well playing with your baby dragon has benefits! What am i talking about it is how you can influence the archetype for you dragon once it reaches 5 days old! What's an archetype? Archetypes are the stat influences for the dragon. It determines what will be the highest stat on level up. There are currently 6 different archetype, each one gives you a points in different categories for battling such as Attack, Speed, Defense and Focus! Your basic dragon archetype is the All Rounder, every time your Dragon levels up you will get points in the following: 10 HP 2 attack/defense 1 speed/focus An Attack focused archetype is attack focused and every time your Dragon levels up you will get points in the following: 10 HP 3 attack 1 speed/focus/defense An Defense focused archetype is attack focused and every time your Dragon levels up you will get points in the following: 10 HP 3 defense 1 speed/focus/attack An Speed focused archetype is attack focused and every time your Dragon levels up you will get points in the following: 10 HP 3 speed 1 attack/focus/defense An Focus focused archetype is attack focused and every time your Dragon levels up you will get points in the following: 10 HP 3 focus 1 speed/attack/defense An Hp focused archetype is attack focused and every time your Dragon levels up you will get points in the following: 30 HP 1 speed/focus/defense/attack So you can control where your dragon is weak and strong by the archetype! Other than HP all stats have a max cap of 100. You can help determine the Arch type of your Dragon, only while its a baby by playing with the toys, all adult dragons updated to battle will be automatically the All Rounder archetype. For example if im battling a dragon with an All Rounder archetype and we are the same level but my dragon is an Attack archetype my attacks will deal more damage than my opponent! Once you have found the Blue print you must craft here is the recipe: 100 AP 15 Clay 15 Stone 15 Wood Once you craft the blueprint the Mystical Orange Mushroom Egg Display! will be sent to your inventory! Remember you have the ability to sell or trade blueprints you find as well as resources that are listed on your hud on the crafting page!!
