Its the " LOVE and kindness " time of year. Today I want to show off and do a throwback to the Legendary Edition ~ Adored ♥ This Legendary Edition ~ Adored was release on Feb. 4th, 2022 to celebrate the love of Valentines Day within our community. In leu of this " lovely" time of year we are all seeing red! Have you ever asked yourself or wondered about when dragons first made a mark in the worlds human history? Wandering pages of a multi plex of different dragon lore, as I do on occasion, I decided on a quest to find the very first time dragons made a mark on human society. When were dragons first discovered and documented? I found something to share to let your minds wander on~ From Ancient Indian sources the Rig Veda is one of the oldest texts in the history of our world, and in its texts it speaks of a great dragon named Vritra. Vritra (Vritra is translated to mean "enveloper" or "Coverer" ) was a serpent dragon who held the earths waters captive and was slain by the primary deity god named Indra in order to release the waters back on to the earth and to give back life. This text from the Rig Veda dates all the way back to 1500BCE. I am sure there are many versions of this battle between Indra and Vritra to read on, and you will have to decide for yourself which you like best, after all it is one of the oldest stories in history~ Pretty Interesting right? Could Vritra be the very first elemental water dragon? Dragon Lore is so captivating and inspiring! Dragon Races are happening now, and in the spirit of the epic race a special spotlight on the new dragon race tracks I have been too and raced on, is in order to show off these amazing fun spots to test your skill with your dragon handling! The time has Come! Today is our Mystical Creatures Rumble! Here is your guide how to battle a trained dragon in PVP! You have been hard at work training your dragon to fight in those PVE Battles in the hud as described in previous connections here, and now the time has come for you to take the next step today and battle and rumble in a PVP Player vs Player Battle ground TODAY! (PVP- Player vs Player where you play against another person) Grab Your buffs and get ready! Here is your step by step guide to RUMBLE! First~ grab your trained dragon and make sure to wear your Hud~ Any NON STARTER dragon between the ages of 5 and 100 can participate in battle. There are 2 different kind of PVP battles: Ranked- can only be done at an official battle arena located at any official store location sim! If you want to climb the leader boards you must be doing a ranked battle Unranked- can be done anywhere even at home! Unranked battles are more for practice at home with your friends! Next~ How to Battle PVP: You must be close to a Battle arena, wear your HUD, and attach your dragon, have someone doing the same and ready to battle. On your HUD you will select Challenge A Player, if a player is in range with their HUD and dragon attached you will get a menu pop up with their name listed, choose the person in which you want to battle. Once you select their name the opponent will receive a drop-down menu option to accept the challenge, if they accept you will see the following message in local chat: Touch the Arena to start combat with the other player! Once you touch the arena the battle will begin! You will see local chat confirming the battle: ~Mystical Creatures Arena~ 10/28/24: Arena Registration confirmed, setting up battle! ~Mystical Creatures Arena~10/28/24: START BATTLE Dragons will appear on the battle arena and you are ready to begin! You will be able to cast attacks on your turn if you have actions, please refer to the battling attack costs listed above. You will see in local chat Begin your turn when it is your turn to attack if you see please wait give it a moment and choose your attack again. Each player will take turns casting attacks until someone loses all HP, there is a progression bar on the HUD. You may use any of the magic spells, to increase your hp or special attacks. Battling in ranked arenas are time sensitive, meaning you have 90 seconds to choose your attack. If you do not attack on your turn, it will forfeit your turn, if you time out a 2nd time it will end the battle and you will forfeit and loose the battle. There is a cool down if you forfeit a battle you will have to wait 15 minutes before you can start another battle. If you forfeit battles in succession each time the cool down will increase. Time out will not apply to unranked matches on a unranked battle arena. The end of the battle you will see in local chat ~Mystical Creatures Arena~: Winner Avalon Crystal or Defeat, unfortunately you were not victorious this battle, Back to training! Your battle is now over and the dragons will disappear from the arena and reset for the next battle. On your battle HUD you will see a battle log that will give you the play by play of every attack that was done during the battle, when the battle is over you will need to select End Match on your HUD to reset your HUD. Now you are ready to Battle! Grab Your Buffs if you have them! You can increase your chances to win a pvp by using BUFFS too! There are items that you can craft and find digging, these items will give your stats a boost, here is a list of what is currently released: Flasks: Flask of Water Flask of Recovery Flask of Intimidation Flask of Air Flask of Fire Flask of Earth To use any Flask, make sure your HUD is attached, and rez the Flask on the ground. Click Flask, a dialog box will pop up with 2 different options. Flasks last 24 hours and may be switched at any time, they are a one time use item! Use- Choosing this option will use the Flask as a battle buff, Flask will disappear and be added under the Flask box on your battling HUD Recycle- Choose this option to recycle the Flask and get back half of the material it cost to craft , the Flask will disappear and your materials will be added back under the crafting page of your HUD What each Flask does: Flask of Fire - When enabled with an Fire Element Dragon improves Speed Flask of Water - When enabled with an Water Element Dragon improves Speed Flask of Earth - When enabled with an Earth Element Dragon improves Speed Flask of Air - When enabled with an Air Element Dragon improves Speed Flask of Recovery - When enabled with any Dragon heals you at the start of every turn Flask of Intimidation - When enabled with any Dragon improves Defense RELICS: Orb of Instinct Orb of Dragonkin Staff of Striking Staff of Swiftness These battle buffs to use you must add them from your inventory, click them you will get two options: Use- Choosing this option will use the Relic as a battle buff, orb or staff will remain in your hand and be added under the Relic box on your battling HUD, this buff last 10 battles and cannot be switched before it runs out. Once you have a Relic you may use it over and over again! Recycle- Choose this option to recycle the Relic and get back half of the material it cost to craft, the Relic will disappear and your materials will be added back under the crafting page of your HUD. What each Relic does: Staff of Striking - When enabled with any Dragon increases your accuracy and damage Staff of Swiftness - When enabled with any Dragon increases your accuracy and gives a chance to get a extra action at the start of a round Orb of Instinct - When enabled with any Dragon increases your accuracy and increases your speed Orb of Dragon Kin - When enabled with any Dragon gives you a defense bonus RUNES: Rune of Water I - V Rune of Fire I - V Rune of Earth I - V Rune of Air I - V Rune of Scales I - V Rune of Mastery To use any Rune, make sure your HUD is attached, and rez the rune on the ground. Click the Rune, a dialog box will pop up with 3 different options. Use- Choosing this option will use the Rune as a battle buff, rune and be added under the Rune box on your battling HUD. Runes will last a total of 10 battles PVE or PVP, Runes maybe used over and over again! Craft- Choose this option when upgrading from a lower-level Rune to a higher level using, a blueprint and leyline forge, the Rune will disappear upon crafting, and you will be sent a new Rune Recycle- Choose this option to recycle the Rune and get back half of the material it cost to craft, the Rune will disappear, and your materials will be added back under the crafting page of your HUD What each Runes Does: Rune of Fire I - V When enabled with an Fire Element Dragon improves Accuracy Rune of Water I - V When enabled with an Water Element Dragon improves Accuracy Rune of Earth I - When enabled with an Earth Element Dragon improves Accuracy Rune of Air I - V When enabled with an AIr Element Dragon improves Accuracy Rune of Mastery - When enabled with any Dragon improves Accuracy all elemental Runes V combined in one! Rune of Scales I - V When enabled against any Dragon increases max health Bandages Blueprints for bandages, as well as bandages can be found as loot while digging and battling. Bandages are not physical items, they are sent to your HUD and you will be able to see how many you have on your Hud battling page. Each Bandage can be used 1 time during every battle and cost one action, this will heal your Dragon and give you HP. There are currently 3 different bandages: Wool Bandage - Gives you 40 HP during a battle Silk Bandage- Gives you 80 HP during a battle Gossimer Bandage - Gives you Full HP during a battle Once you use a bandage one will be deducted from the Bandage box located on the battling page on your HUD. Are you wondering HOW to get all these Cool Buffs to help you win a battle??? Just start digging, or scouring the markets to find these special items to boost you up in battle! Now that you have the Information you need to start battling PVP style, lets get to the RUMBLE!

So you have trained your dragon in a special Archetype and now you are ready to start Battling! Congratulations! You took the first steps in becoming a Champion Dragon Fighter! Lets Talk about the two types of ways to battle with your New dragon fighter~ PVE ( player VS Environment , which is on your hud ) and PVP ( Player VS Player ), Each one of these different ways to battle are a ton of fun~ Now, time to Level up your Battling skills! In this Connection, lets learn how to PVE first this week! 1st::: Attach your battle dragon and your Mystical Creatures Hud, also attach your choice of Biome Beacon which is found in your MC HUD folder( these biomes produce different monsters to fight against) -the first page of your hud is the info page. Click the orange colored diamond at the bottom of your first page of the hud and turn to the battling page. On this page you will see your Dragons name at the top and all info on your dragon regarding archetype of the dragon you are wearing. Towards the bottom of the page you will see the option button called MONster Encounters. 2nd::: By clicking the "Monster Encounters" button you will enter into a hunt for a monster to fight in a PVE battle! - after clicking the button will now say... " Searching for Monsters! -Once a monster is found you will then see the monsters picture shown at the top left of your hud screen and the info on that monster to calculate attacks to become the hero of that fight~ 3rd Step::: Start Your Battle by making the first Attack! -at the bottom of the battling page you will see your dragon and a few options for attacks as well as your dragons Health Points (HP), Actions and Surges bars. The actions bar is the amount of actions you have in a round and in each round you will have at least 6 actions. Surges build up according to how many times you hit your enemy and building your surges allows you to use the MAGIC option to produce a powerful attack or to Heal your dragon from enemy attacks. Your Options for attacks are~ -Claw, Tail, Bite, Breath, Magic -Clicking these attack combinations will put you in the thick of battle! In the center of the battling page you also see the Battle Log of your attacks and your enemies attacks so you can see and make that strategic next attack move to push you all the way to victory or defeat~ One after another you and your opponent will take turns sending your best attacks forth to win the battle, and again you can see progress of the battle and exactly when it is your turn or your opponents turn in the middle section Battle Log. Lastly::: When you win the battle, your battle log will show the XP and AP given to you for winning the battle as well as the info of your wins and losses. Remember, PVE battles are the only way to level up your dragon to increase its attack, speed, focus, and defense. With a victorious battle you will gain XP and when enough XP is gained your dragons level will go up! If you lose a battle you will see a message saying "You Lost!" and an account of your losses as well. At the end of each battle you will need to click " End Match " . This clears your combat log and allows you to start another battle with an all new enemy! YES, its that easy and fun! Now time to get busy and BATTLE your Best with your new found battling ability! See you on the battlegrounds!

Are you ready to start training your dragon for battles? Lets do it! Will you Train your baby dragon in the Archetype of Speed, Attack, Defense, HP (health Points), or in Focus? Lets talk for a moment on exactly how to begin and what you need to do first to start! First, grab a baby dragon, placing it on the ground near you, and wear your Dragon Hud.~ From the moment of birth you can begin playing (training) with your baby dragon to determine which of those archetypes above will be given to your dragon. Just choose 1 toy and stick with it all the way from the start of play (or training) until its grown into adult (5 days old). Choosing and using more then one toy to play with on a baby dragon will give you an archetype called all rounder. If you want a specialty archetype, just use one toy from start to finish. Which toy will you use? Take a look at our dragon toys found in the folder with your Mystical Dragons Hud and lets see what each does! We have a Mystical Cuddle Rug, which is great for cuddle season, but this toy will train your dragon in the archetype HP (health Points)~ With more health points you can last longer taking more hits and maybe just enough to send a powerful attack back, defeating your opponent. Then, we have our Mystical Colorful Ball, which with a triumphant leap by your baby dragon, you will be able to see your dragon playfully romp in local chat. This toy gives us the Attack archetype. Next we have our Mystical Dragon Plush Toy! (cutest of the lot!) This dragon plush toy give a Defense archetype~ (did I say it was cute?) It gives us Defense against those staggering blows of our opponents~ The Mystical Rope Toys give the power of Speed in archetype for our Dragons. It is rumored that this Archetype is a favorite among dragon battlers and a popular way of winning a battle with friends! The Time of Tales book is for the archetype of focus and will navigate your dragons Focus in magical spells that you can use in order to conjure and produce powerful attacks on your opponent! Now that you know the toys our dragons can play with to train, which one toy will you choose to battle with? Once you choose the toy and your baby dragon is rezz'd close to that toy, make sure you are wearing your hud and open it. Open your hud by clicking it and you will see the very first page is the Information Page (at the top of page). At bottom center, will be two colored diamonds. Click on the left orange diamond to turn to the second page called Battling (at the top of page). >>>>>> Click your favorite Dragon Toy that you have assigned to your baby dragon (you will see response in the local chat that will say "*** Mystical "toy" will be used to play with. Then, in the left bottom corner of the hud, just above the diamond, you will see a button that says "Play!" right under Training on that Battling page~ Now click " Play"~ You will see in local chat this note: "Mystical Dragon Hud v2.0: Please touch the dragon you want to play with using the Mystical toy*. Just Click your baby dragon and !WALA! there you have done the first training session with your baby dragon! Its Easy and Fun and you will see the confirming responses from each of your actions all in chat so you can be sure you are doing it right! Your baby dragon is now well on its way to battling with gusto! Remember, we can only play with our dragons and their toys to age 5 in order for us to influence the baby dragons archetype. You can play with your baby dragon and their toy as much as you wish every 6 hrs until the age of 5. You also must play with your baby dragon and their specific toy a minimum of 3 times before age 5 in order to direct the archetype. ( I encourage more playing because its fun! ) Its very simple and easy to get started in doing these simple steps to give you a head start and an added benefit of archetype in the fun of battling your dragon! Its that chilling Spooky time of year everyone! So getting into the spirit of the season lets talk about our Legendary edition Halloween Dragons! Our Very First Legendary Edition Halloween Dragon that came into our SL mystical world, was our beloved Hallowed Briarthorn! In October 2021 we received our first ever Halloween LE and to our surprise and delight it was stunning! With a beautiful array of oranges and purples it was the perfect First Halloween Legendary Edition Dragon for our Community to get in the spirit ~ This stunning creature gave us new eyes, new horns and ornament pigments, and the CLAWS to add to our own present and future designs~ ( see pic below!) Our Second Legendary Edition Halloween Dragon came in the form of an amazing skeletal dragon. NO BONES ABOUT IT~ The Wailing Wraith and the Shrieking Phantom have been an amazing edition to follow up that previous years LE and many of us in the community still enjoy using of all the traits that came from these Legendary Editions including the new eyes, claws, horn and ornament pigments as well! All traits coming from these were Wailing Wraith and Shrieking Phantom Traits~ Boasting of gorgeous colors and texture designs that we all love to see and use to this very day~ ( See the bones below!) The third Legendary Edition that came on to our Mystical Creatures Scene was just as amazing as the first few I mentioned above. These two LE's had MASSive Pops of vibrant colors, making fanatics in our community spawn everywhere~ The Community scrambled to grab these new Legendary Edition Ultraviolet Weavers and Legendary Edition Soulfire Weavers to breed and have in their collections! Can you imagine the delights when we first saw these new traits that these LE's were passing? New Eyes, New Horn and ornament Pigments and claws put vibrant color in our lives this particular season and all passed from these exciting Halloween Legendary Editions Weavers! These pops of colors still are seen in our markets out for sale and on display and you will also see them in the breedings of trendsetter dragons everywhere! Along with all these incredible traits that we saw pass from these beautiful Halloween Mystical Creatures, we now have the opportunity to use these in a very special kind of way! Our New 2024 Halloween Contest! Just Breed the Dragon you wish to enter into this contest~ The Dragon must be born between July 26th and October 31st 2024~ Your dragon entry must have 2 of these Halloween traits mentioned above and 6 non starter traits~ Its a fun way to kick off the fall and Halloween season!
