Aria, with her stunning ruby-red skin, her pinkish white underbelly that traveled sensuously between her breasts and down her thighs, and her long, flowing red hair, was a half-human, half-dragon entity. A dragon fairy found her when she was just an egg, nurtured and cared for her until she was of age.

One bright morning, as Aria roamed the enchanting meadows of Etherealia, she spotted something unusual nestled amidst a bed of vibrant wildflowers. It was a glimmering bottle, half-buried in the soft earth. Her heart danced with curiosity as she reached down to retrieve it.

Gently uncorking the bottle, Aria found a delicate parchment inside, adorned with shimmering ink that glowed with an ethereal brilliance. The script upon the parchment was written in an ancient and ornate language.

With her unique connection to the realm and the mystical dragons, Aria invoked her ethereal bond to decipher the message within. As the words unveiled themselves, she felt a sense of anticipation and awe, for the message spoke of a distant realm seeking connection and wisdom from the guardians of Etherealia.

"To the esteemed Crystal Dragon Guardians of Etherealia," the message began, "from the seekers of the Luminous Realm, we extend our deepest respect and admiration for your guardianship of the mystical."

The message continued, recounting tales of the Luminous Realm's journey to protect their own magical equilibrium and their desire to establish a connection between their realm and Etherealia—a realm where knowledge, wonder, and wisdom could be shared and celebrated.

Aria, with her warm-hearted and inquisitive nature, felt a sense of responsibility. She knew that she had a unique role to play in fostering this connection between the two realms. With a sense of purpose and determination, she decided to embark on a journey to deliver the message to the Crystal Dragon Guardians and help bridge the gap between Etherealia and the Luminous Realm.

Checking on your babies, noticing them all catch up with each other at 100%. Realizing that never happens. I don't ever see my babies at 100%. I'm talking about the dragonesses here. I'm satisfied with giving them this break and letting them breath. 'Cause I know what it's like to need a moment. A moment to self. Then noticing the ones who are a little behind and catching up with the flock. Soon to be moving as one. That's satisfying. I am full of gratitude on so many levels.

I'm Star, and I'm sending you a little note today. If you've been following me, you might know that I have a passion for writing. As the 2nd Dragon Birthday approaches, it has prompted me to reflect on my journey as a dragon breeder.

I've been immersed in the world of dragon breeding for quite some time now. When I first dipped my toes into this hobby, I started with a modest collection of nine to ten breeding pools, housing just two to three dragons each. But oh, how things escalated! Soon enough, I found myself in charge of a bustling clan of 70 to 80 dragons. Looking back, I can't help but wonder what possessed me to undertake such an ambitious endeavor.

I was constantly hatching eggs, eagerly awaiting the outcomes.

It's almost surreal to contemplate it now. I tried my best to keep my dragon population below 70, but it wasn't easy. I hesitated to ascend any of my dragon offspring because I had grown attached to them. To this day, I still have over 60 dragons that are stone, patiently waiting for Mama to gradually release and ascend them. But I've come to realize that it's okay to let some go. Yet, there are certain dragons, like my first LE Gingerbread Dragon, that I'll never part with. He is my Eternal companion.

Well, it was a challenging experience. Understanding why some traits passed on while others didn't was a puzzle that left me scratching my head. This frustration was share by my family, who started on this breeding adventure with me. We were all driven by excitement to owning and breeding dragons.

Each of us adopted a different approach, and together, we supported and educated each other on becoming better breeders. Today, only a few of them still dabble in dragon breeding, although they may not be as active in auctions as I am. They occasionally reach out to me, curious about the latest developments in the world of dragon breeding. I take pleasure in observing what other breeders are proud of and what they're looking to sell.

I've grown to genuinely enjoy the art of breeding and being an active part of this community. I've been a part of Second Life for over a decade, and there was a time when I contemplated leaving it altogether due to my sporadic online presence.

So, when I stumbled upon the idea of having dragons as pets and breeding them, I was instantly captivated. I didn't even know what these dragons looked like; I was just eager to find out. My love for dragons is sweet, with one of my all-time favorites being Kohaku, the god/dragon from the movie Spirited Away.

Nonetheless, I had no idea what to expect when I met my first Dragon Breeder. The initial pair of dragons I got were nearly pure Fruzyal's, although I had no clue about their significance back then. I was simply drawn to them because of their pristine, all-white appearance – reminiscent of Kohaku. While the Tolrae dragons caught my eye for a while, their prices were rather steep at the time, and I had to gradually work my way towards breeding them, all the while still figuring things out.

At one point, I had dragons scattered all over the place, laying eggs left and right. I did, however, grasp the importance of pairing dragons with union crystals to prevent utter chaos. Even though a part of me enjoyed it. I frequently referred to the invaluable dragon HUD from 3rd Eye, and before I knew it, I had nearly 400 eggs to manage. Organizing and naming each one. It was a rewarding experience, to say the least.

Now, after some time has passed, I find myself with fewer than a third of the live dragons I once had in my breeding collection. I'm making a conscious effort to keep their numbers under 30. In fact, I aim to breed even less, focusing on the dragons that hold a special place in my heart and those I wish to design.

After much contemplation and consultation with the dragons, the Crystal Dragon Guardians decided to respond to the message. They crafted a heartfelt message in return, extending their gratitude and their willingness to embark on this journey of connection and enlightenment.

Through their combined magic and the guidance of the dragons, a portal was opened—an iridescent gateway that bridged the realms of Etherealia and the Luminous Realm. It was a celestial bridge through which knowledge, wonder, and wisdom could flow.

The connection formed between the realms was a testament to the enduring power of curiosity and unity. The Crystal Dragon Guardians, as stewards of knowledge and protectors of harmony, embraced the opportunity to share their insights with the seekers of the Luminous Realm, and in turn, to learn from the rich tapestry of magic that the Luminous Realm had to offer.

With the males out of my breeding pools, the female dragons are getting the time they need to recover and synchronize for a Mystical Creatures Birthday Celebration! The anticipation is building as we inch closer to the 2nd celebration of the breedable dragons!

In just 15 days, we'll be commemorating a remarkable journey – the second anniversary of Mystical Creatures. It all began with a mere whisper about breeding dragons, an idea that ignited an undeniable excitement within. Before I knew it, a pair of these majestic creatures found their way into my world. What followed was a captivating saga – a flourishing family of dragons, along with a treasure trove of eggs, each holding the potential for more extraordinary beings. As we stand on the cusp of this special milestone, it's not merely about the dragons and their eggs; it's about celebrating the profound expedition of imagination and wonder that Mystical Creatures has invited us to partake in. Let's eagerly await these 15 days, counting down to a celebration that honors two years of embracing the enchanting magic within our minds!

Started breeding Regal Fangs for their rarity and unique traits! Wasn't a fan of the blue-yellow combo, but I hunted for those elusive rare traits anyway.

Lucky find: all 4 traits on a Datentud! Gifted an old female partner, passed traits easily.

to see it on a Shallows skin with fins!

It was a journey, but I'm smitten. Regal Fangs may be rare, but I've got mine. Grateful!
