Nexus Crystal

Hi, my partner and I are both new to the dragons.  

We both have our dragons in the same place, so am wondering, my Nexus Crystal will not update.  I have updated my dragons and when i click on the crystal and hit update, it says this: 

[10:28] Mystical Nexus Crystal V1.1 CR: Bulk updating dragons...
[10:28] Mystical Nexus Crystal V1.1 CR: No dragons remaining in this region

Is it because he has his Nexus Crystal on same sim?  Will his work with mine?  Do i need to change something on my Nexus, like a 'channel' so it works for my dragons?  Can someone help me please?

This means that all of your dragons are up to date, so you can not update them.
