Glowing Orb

After digging with my dragon I was given a Glowing Orb object.  I rezzed it on the ground and it seemed to activate.  Now when I click on it I get 2 options to cancel or craft.  What is this used for?  Can someone please explain how to use it?

No where in this wiki does it mention a Glowing Orb.  Can you please be more specific? Or point me to another instructional?  Is this Glowing orb an ingredient in a blueprint?

They are catalyst needed for blue prints when crafting certain items.
